The wedding and reception was being held at The Stanley hotel. The Stanley hotel is absolutely beautiful, and not only is it beautiful but it is also famous. It's famous for being haunted and for being the inspiration for the Stephen King novel "The Shining." Yeah, that's right the
redrum, movie with Jack Nicholson. Now, me being the scaredy cat that I am, I tried not to focus on the fact that the hotel was haunted and that such a crazy novel was written about it. They even had the movie playing on a continuous loop on one of the hotels t.v channels. Crazy, I know. I think that if I had taken a moment out of the two nights we stayed at the hotel to really think about where we were and what had supposedly happened in the empty spaces there I don't think I would have been able to sleep. Everything would have meant something. All the creaks and groans would have been whispers from a different realm. Good thing for me when a wedding happens you have no time to think, so much is going on that you just have to go with the flow. And that is exactly what happened. We went with the flow.
The view coming around the bend and the first time you see The Stanley is amazing.
Of course all the ladies had to get our nails did before the big day.
