Mom! Look I'm on T.V.!!

A couple of posts ago, I told you guys that I was having my art on display at our local library. Of course that is still going down, however, in addition to that the library decided to make me their featured artist for February. And in doing so they shot a video of me speaking about my artwork. The video is going to be on the library's website, it is called "Off the Wall". It is also going to be on the the library channel with our local cable company (which of whom, ironically, I do not have my cable with). I think it's channel 17 or 11 with Comcast.
Man, when they asked me to do the video I was so excited and yet nervous at the same time. As ya'll already know, I don't like being in front of the camera lens. And then when I figured out I would not only have to be in front of the lens, I was going to have to talk too?!? Man. Fagetaboutit!!! I almost canceled. Almost. Yeah right!!!! Are you kidding? This was too good to pass up. I had to do it. So today I did it. The library crew came over, with all their gear, miked me up, and the interview began. I had so much fun with Sharon, trying to answer her questions in the coolest way possible. I just hope I don't sound too much like a dork. We shall see. I will let you guys know when the video gets posted so you can check me out....of course that would have to be after I've looked at it and given it my seal of approval. Let's just pray that everything turns out well.

And beause I can't leave you with out a pic, and I haven't really showed you guys what is in the show I will post a couple up now so you can get a slight preview....

Tight, right?!? I think they look yummy. Enjoy.
Much love...

{Natalie + Tyler}

Happy New Year everyone!!! I've decided to start this new year off with awesome photos of my awesome sister and my awesome niece. (I know, too much use of awesome. But hey, enjoy this awesome post and have a totally awesome day!.... Ha! Had to thow those in there) Anywhoo....

Natalie is the bomb older sister. To this day, I can talk to her about anything, she keeps it 100 with me and I definitely keep it 100 with her. (I am not sure if you know this Tyler, but your mom is so cool.) I don't call her as much as I should, but I know she is always just a phones reach away when ever I need her. When we went to California last November for Thanksgiving I asked Nat and Tyler if they would mind if I took their pictures while I worked on building my portfolio. They were so excited that I had asked, and couldn't wait to be my models for the day. We had so much fun together, these two were just perfect for what I was trying to do. Not only did I come away with some beautiful pictures, but I also got some much needed QT with my older sis and niece.

My fav of the day...

This is how the day really went...

Man, you guys know what you do to me. I love you so much, you make my heart sing. I simply cannot wait until me and the fam are closer, so we can make our bond that much stronger. Because honestly Nat, my kids need to know what an awesome Aunty they have in you.
Love you....
